Blog (January 26, 2011)

I’m going to try and keep this blog pretty short and to the point. Since my last blog, I have traveled to Philadelphia, PA for the Motorsports 2011 show and just recently got home late Sunday night. The show was a fun time and I got to meet quite a few fans.

It was similar to the PRI (Performance Racing Industry) trade show, but it had fewer racing product venders and more merchandise vendors. The show began on Friday, and no sooner did we pull into the parking lot and there was a fan with one of my autograph cards for me to sign; that was pretty neat. For the remainder of the show, I had an autograph signing each day the New Jersey Motorsports Park booth, which was fun because I had the opportunity to practice on the simulator that they had set up.

On Saturday night, I had the opportunity to judge the Ms. Motorsports 2011 contest and I had a lot of fun doing that!!! I want to thank everyone from Area Auto News, New Jersey Motorsports Park and Knight Motorsports Management for making the trip a successful one! As for things over at the shop, I am working on sanding down one of our cars to get it ready for paint and the guys are working hard on the Daytona car.

The primary car for Daytona came back on Monday and it looks awesome! I really have feeling good about our chances now. Thanks Performance Vehicle Works! Now it’s time to head back to the shop and get moving again, it’s hard to believe that February 7 is right around the corner!

Until then,
